The City of Star lists both ACHD (208-387-6100) and Highway District No. 4 (208-454-8135) as road contacts. Ask which agency owns your street before placing a unit there. Private driveways and lots need no road permit.
Star deliveries run about 20 miles west of Boise on State Highway 44. The town sits near 2,470 feet, close to Boise's climate. Expect around 55 days a year at 90°F or hotter. Shade and a mid-event service help on long summer events.
Lots near the Boise River can be soft after irrigation. Firm, level ground within about 30 feet of the truck is best. The city park rule calls for hard surfaces, so plan a paved spot.

One standard unit for a Star event costs $175, plus 6% Idaho sales tax. Another on that same order is $135. If your Star event grows, just call and add units. Monthly units are $165 per cycle, plus $75 once.
The City of Star special event form requires at least 1 ADA unit when you add portable restrooms. An ADA unit rents for $235 per event. It has a ground-level floor and a 60-inch turning circle inside.
Star's special event form calls for city-approved placement on hard surfaces. Plan a paved spot near a parking lot or path. Note the spot on your permit so the delivery truck can reach it.
Star is in Zone 1, so event delivery and pickup are included. A call before 12 noon gets a same-day Star delivery, Monday through Saturday. A same-day rush adds $95 to the order total.
